Privacy Policy
How Dygnsringen handles data. Short version: no account, no server, everything you enter stays on your device. The only thing that leaves the phone is advertising traffic.

Who is responsible
The data controller for Dygnsringen is Shehryar Hassan. Questions about this policy or your data: sherryberry0@icloud.com.
What the app stores on your device
The following is stored locally, in the app's own storage and in the shared container the widgets read. It is never transmitted and we have no access to it.
- Your electricity price area
- Your markups, taxes and grid fees, if you entered them
- Your housing profile or annual consumption, if you chose one
- Notification settings
- Fetched electricity prices, as a cache
- Your planned appliance runs and their estimated savings
All of it disappears when you delete the app. There is no backup on our side, because there is no our side.
What the app fetches
Electricity prices
Prices come from elprisetjustnu.se. The request contains a date and a price area, nothing else. No identifier and nothing about you is sent.
Advertising
Dygnsringen is free and funded by ads from Google AdMob. Google is an independent data controller for that processing and describes it in its own policy.
What Google may collect depends on your choices:

Every feature in Dygnsringen works the same regardless of what you choose. Nothing is locked behind consent.
Purchases
The purchase that removes ads is handled by Apple. We never see your name, payment details or Apple Account, only a receipt confirming the purchase is valid.
Apple Watch
If you use the watch app, your price area and markups are sent from your phone to your own watch using Apple's built-in mechanism. The data does not pass through any server of ours.
What the app does not do
- No account, no sign-in
- No analytics of our own, no crash reporting, no tracking pixels of our own
- No location access. The app never asks where you are
- No access to contacts, calendar, photos, microphone or health data
- Nothing is sold or shared by us, because we hold nothing to share
Notifications
Alerts about cheap hours are calculated on your phone from prices already fetched, and scheduled locally. No push server is involved and no message is sent from us.
Legal basis
For advertising, the legal basis is your consent, given in the dialog at first launch. For the app's own functionality, we process no personal data.
Your rights
Since we store no personal data about you, there is no record on our side to access, correct or erase. The relevant rights concern Google and are controlled by you, in the app and in iOS:
- Change your ad consent: app Settings, under Ads and privacy
- Change tracking permission: iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking
- Erase everything the app stored: delete the app
You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
Children
Dygnsringen is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Material changes are described in the app's release notes.
